American soprano, Libby Clark is an up and coming operatic singer, originally from Chattanooga, TN. She is a lover of all music and prides herself on being versatile and comfortable in a variety of repertoires.

As an avid storyteller, Libby feels most at home on the operatic stage. Her most recent performance was as Gretel in Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel with the Berlin Opera Academy. As an artist with Varna International, she was featured in two Puccini operas, performing the roles of Suor Genovieffa in Suor Angelica and Nella in Gianni Schicchi. She also spent a summer with CoOPERAtive at Rider University, where she performed a variety of art song and operatic repertoire.

Libby is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music in New York, where she obtained an M.M. in Vocal Performance and Literature. While singing with the Eastman Opera Theatre, she appeared in Joseph Bologne’s L’amant Anonyme as Jeanette, as well as Peitho in Kate Soper’s Here Be Sirens. She also portayed Rapunzel in Into the Woods by Stephen Sondheim, and Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro by Mozart. While completing her Bachelor degree at Lee University, she performed the roles of Laetitia from Menotti’s The Old Maid and the Thief and A woman with a child from Bartinů’s What Men Live By.
